So sorry for the problems with the Website!

Heya Folks!
Some of our fans notified us various times about the fact, that our little Website was allmost unusable for quite a time. That was due to the fact that I, alionsonny, changed some of the PHP code of the framework which is used for several sites and didn't keep an eye on the Willma Poppen site. Now some folks are quite angry against me, and I can understand that very well, especially because I did not react immediately when people mailed that the site was trashed. Well, I didn't know that after we have not published songs for quite a time, there are still people out there visiting the site and concentrated my work more on the other projects I am working at.
But there's a happy end: Today I fixed the site completely and everything should be fine now.

New song "Poppin' on Heavens Door" has been released!

Yes, it was about time that a new Willma Poppen smashhit was released, but due to the structure of this project, it was not possible to put something together faster. Well I, alionsonny, learned a lot from all the confusion and obstacles inside the project and decided to take even more duties in this project as MY duties, which, as a mater of fact, turns this project into a one man project with supporters who contribute just from time to time. This gives ME more artistical freedom and makes this project less dependent on people who seem to not have the time to contribute to it on a regular basis. So in fact Willma Poppen is now MY sideproject. This will definately speed up things and songs of this project will be more often released than in the past years. You'll probably also recognize a change of the Willma Poppen sound generally and I hope you like it.
I thank all the contributors to this project, no matter if they still contribute or not. Even tho I am quite disapointed about some folks who founded this project with me, boasting about how involved they would be and how much they would contribute, I have no hard feelings against anyone of them. It is just that I would have loved it if they had a bit more of a realistic view about how much time they were able to invest. Still everybody is welcome to work with me, to make this project succeed.
But enough about all the structural and strategical stuff, here's the new song by Willma Poppen. It's the last one which is produced by the old team:

New Track - "Heroes of the Popp-Culture"

Yes, it is done! After approximately 2 years of absulte silence at the Poppen Headquarters, a new track has finally been released yesterday. Those who follow alionsonny on Twitter and Facebook allready know about it. There has been quite a bog controversy at the Willma Poppen thinktank about how this project will go on. There have been loads of differencies between the leftover members of the core team about style questions, if the project should leave its current state and become a live act, if we should even more open the project to other musicians and contributors in several ways. To keep it short: The whole concept of the project was questiones with the result that everything should stay as it is but should be pushed with more force. alionsonny was quite p*ssed recently about the lazyness of some folks who were very excited when it all started, but contributed not much after. Other core members of the project were again p*ssed about, that alionsonny works at his own projects a lot more and still is the man who makes the decisions. Well, you see, there was a lot of sh*t flying around. Finally all folks are cool now again and very pleased about the realization and mix of the new track alionsonny created at his laboratory for the new track. Willma Poppen IS BACK!

Because some of the Popp-Folks had some different stuff to do, the Willma Poppen Project was allmost dead. Then we had major problems with hackers on our stupid Joomla (sod that crap!) website which nobody was willing to fix... aww let's stop the excuses :D In fact not much was happening for over a year at the Willma Poppen Project. But because of popular demand and people allways asking for news from the project, we are now back in full force. We have a brandnew website on the brandnew domain of our resident weblabel alionmind records and Sonny and the WP Crew are allready working at new gems of Popp-Cultural Music. We will also undust and revamp some of the other stuff, but as we are all working at several of our own projects, it will most probably take some time, until we get everything in place. Many people asked for a album by Willma Poppen and YES, this is definately on our agenda. The working title is "Heroes of the Popp-Culture" and like alionsonny's albums it will contain the magic number of 13 tracks. You see: We have a lot to do, as our little project released only 3 tracks up to now. We will also release one or more of the typical Willma Poppen musicvideos also. So stay tuned, visit our website from time to time and you'll know when something happens. We are back, we are hot and we are dangerous! Popp on!
